There’s just something so precious, creative, and charming (usually) when a kid mispronounces or misuses a word. In some cases, they even make up their own words altogether. These adorable moments are ones I never want to forget. Here are some of the Weigle Wilds’ most memorable and endearing expressions:

  • Ear Tips - q tips; honestly, this makes wayyyy more sense to me!

  • Private Seat - privacy; an honest mistake, especially considering it's mostly used when they are sitting on the potty.

  • Hanitizer - hand sanitizer (thanks Covid); cute and also why not make it just one word?

  • Glitter - litter; as in "Mom, why do people throw so much glitter on the side of the road?" I wish it was glitter and I keep trying to tell them it's called litter. But the thought of people just throwing glitter out their car windows instead of wrappers and cigarette butts is way more enjoyable to me.

  • Hold You - my youngest says this when she wants to be picked up. I believe she picked it up from me saying "Do you want me to hold you?"

  • Straw Babies and Blue Babies - strawberries and blueberries. Adorable.

  • Zee Bees - zebras
